Where property sells in under 43 days in Inner-Brisbane

Properties in suburbs with high demand tend to sell faster. The average time it takes to sell in Australia after first being advertising usually sits around 43 days. In Inner-Brisbane, there are a number of suburbs with median days on market way below the national average. These are split up into houses and units.

If you’re looking to sell, make sure to ask a Brisbane real estate agent in your area what the median days on market (DOM) are for your suburb. Generally, if the number is low, you’ll know that there is high demand in the area and you’ll likely be able to find potential buyers. If you’re a buyer, low days on market might mean competition is strong and it might be difficult to get the property that you want.

How to sell your home fast

One of the biggest tips that real estate agents tend to give to sellers looking to sell your home fast is to present your property well. This includes simple things like cleaning and decluttering as well as styling your home to make sure it appeals to buyers. People viewing your property should be able to imagine themselves living there.

Furthermore, ensuring that you have a great real estate agent is crucial. They should be able to understand your property and your needs so that they can best market it. Every type of property has a different target demographic and its important that your listing reaches as many of the right people as possible.
