In Inner-Brisbane, there are a number of suburbs with median days on market way below the national average. These are split up into houses and units.

Generally, if the number is low, you’ll know that there is high demand in the area and you’ll likely be able to find potential buyers. If you’re a buyer, low days on market might mean competition is strong and it might be difficult to get the property that you want.
Where units sell the fastest in Inner-Brisbane
Being so close to the Brisbane CBD, the median days on market for units in many Inner-Brisbane suburbs is quite low. For example, units in Red Hill have the lowest days on market in all of Inner-Brisbane at only 21 days. This is less than half of what the national average is.
Other suburbs where units tend to sell very fast include Herston, New Farm, Highgate Hill and Paddington. Herston units typically sell in just under a month with the median days on market at 28. New Farm units have a median days on market of 36. Units in both Highgate Hill and Paddington usually sell in 38 days.
Where houses sell the fastest in Inner-Brisbane
Inner-Brisbane houses tend to sell the fastest in Kangaroo Point and Kelvin Grove where the median days on market is 25. In Red Hill and Woolloongabba, houses take about a month to sell with the median days on market sitting at 28 and 31, respectively. The median days on market for houses in Petrie Terrace is 36, in Paddington is 39, and in New Farm is just under the national average at 42.5.
